The hardest thing to do in all of this is.... wait..

The waiting has to be the hardest part. The waiting for the storm to pass. Often times, it pays to wait, pays to think ahead before you speak your words. Understand, what you say, what you -do- will reflect on that other person/people. 

Sometimes there is never a clear answer. Sometimes I sit down and beg for guidance from whatever is willing to help me. If it is God, Jesus, a Goddess, faith in something greater, science, whatever, something will lead the way; even if, it is just time alone.

Some Thoughts:

When in reflection, you have to allow to let others make their choices. Their own choices. Sometimes it is the hardest thing for you to do, to step back, to step back and watch. The only thing you can do is let that person walk blindly, even if you have strong opinions on what they should or should not be doing. It is -not- your life. Stop interfering. Step the hell back. -,- 

Be there as a friend. Be there silently to pick them up when they do happen to fall or loose themselves and seek your help. Be there as guidance, be there as support, just simply be there to listen even if you KNOW what they did was wrong or just not the best of their "brilliant" master plans. Simply exist to them and by all means, do not point fingers when the inevitable happens. Do not rub it in their face and gloat. Just be there.

Thoughts:

Lesson number one. Challenge yourself during an argument with a loved one:

Use the word "I" instead of "you".

Example:

"I feel ...." instead of "You hurt me"

"I would like...." instead of "You only do as you please..."

"I hurt a lot when this .... happens.."  instead of "You hurt me..." 

You = pointing fingers

We hate it when people point fingers. So try it a new way, come on, I know you are smart enough to attempt it, you might just fail the first time, maybe the second time, or third, but keep going, you might just find your disagreements getting better..? Who knows, just try it. :)
